Ed Martin, who has recently taken on the role of DOJ pardon attorney and leads the Weaponization Working Group, is currently examining accusations regarding the improper use of the presidential autopen in the closing days of the Biden administration.
Martin disclosed that the investigation commenced several weeks ago and encompasses significant allegations made by a whistleblower, a high-ranking Democrat associated with Biden’s 2020 campaign.
The whistleblower identified Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, Robert Bauer, Steve Ricchetti, and First Lady Jill Biden as “gatekeepers” who purportedly managed autopen access for financial gain.
Allegations that Biden’s signature was present on documents during his absence, coupled with worries regarding his cognitive health, have prompted House Republicans to request interviews with senior aides and Biden’s doctor.
